John Hancock Funds Internship Program

Students can explore the Mutual Fund business as a part of our John Hancock Funds Internship Program. This 10-week program offers summer employment for individuals wishing to gain insight and invaluable experience with some of the top professionals in the mutual fund business.

The Program

• Employment and on-the-job training: Internship placements may include: Treasury Oversight, Tax Department, Compliance and Vendor Management, Portfolio and Cash Services, Financial Reporting, and Securities Valuation
• Programming>:
• Mentorship: Each intern will be assigned a mentor who will serve as a coach and will provide advice, counsel and guidance.

The Interns

• Entering sophomore, junior or senior year in an undergraduate program
• Interested in full-time employment in financial services after graduation
• Highly motivated
• Demonstrated leadership
• Strong communication skills
• Excels academically; curriculum exposure to accounting, tax, business process reviews, information technology, general management, problem solving, analytics and regulatory reporting required.
• Available to participate in program from the first full week in June to the 2nd week in August
